Daniel drives with John Leffler
If there is any proof required that racing is in the Brickwood blood, look no further than here. With Jim and James leading the charge as Grandfather and Father, a new generation of racers hit the track today.
The Marulan Track Day this year was Dan’s 1st drive of his new toy – a VR white Commodore. After spending many hours with our chief mechanic Tony in the workshop getting this baby up to speed for the track, Dan ventured out on to the track with much confidence.
Following his VR debut, Daniel shifted pace a little and got into the little silver Holden Astra – his first drive in a manual. Right from the outset we could see he meant business, gliding through the gears like he had done it for years.
To top off what was already shaping up to be a fantastic day for the young man, he had the honour of having racing legend John Leffler sit through a few laps with him and give him a few pointers on steering and speed control.
It was obvious that while he has much to learn we can expect big things from this young man!
